The article on “Daylighting a Car Repair Facility” summarizes the energy efficiency efforts of Columbia, Md.-based car repair facility, British American Auto Care (BAAC). Therein, Hawkins is referenced for upgrading BAAC’s lighting system from metal halide, 455-watt fixtures to Orion 192-watt fixtures having six T8 fluorescent lamps.
