January 25, 2013 (Laurel, MD) – IEC Chesapeake is proud to offer the nationally-known Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) Program. COSS is a unique, 40-hour curriculum based training course designed by safety professionals for safety professionals to prepare and equip them with the core competencies of occupational safety and health. COSS offers hands-on, interactive training delivered by OSHA authorized instructors. Students learn how to recognize hazards, read OSHA CFRS, manage safety and health programs, handle an OSHA inspection, determine the true cost of an accident, the psychology of safety, and so much more.
