IECC Electrical Apprenticeship available at the Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie, 2018-2019

Perkasie, Pa. – April 20, 2018  — To meet the demand for more skilled workers, Bucks County Community College has partnered with the Independent Electrical Contractors Chesapeake (IECC) to offer an electrical apprenticeship program starting this fall.

The training will be offered at the college’s Upper Bucks Campus, located at One Hillendale Road, Perkasie, Pa. The four-year program will enroll up to 25 students each year. The training includes technical instruction that is a part of the IECC registered apprenticeship program and is identified in the IECC curriculum.

Those interested in the program are invited to attend an information session Thursday, May 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at United Electric Supply, located at 1111 North Broad Street, Lansdale, Pa. Representatives from the IECC and Bucks County Community College will answer questions about IECC apprenticeship. Light lunch will be served.
