Craft Beer

Stop. You had me at craft brewery. https://bestthingsmd.com/breweries/

All the cool kids are doing it now- you should too.

Several of our favorites are on this list, and we can speak from experience. We changed up two of our four annual networking events, several years ago, to be held at local craft breweries. Our members love them!

In 2017 we will hold a Fall event- thanks to Associate Partner Milwaukee Tools- at Heavy Seas in Baltimore.

Our 2017 end of year event -thanks to Associate Partners Encore and Maurice Electric-will be held at Jailbreak Brewery in Laurel.

These are so popular that our 2018 brewery event is also spoken for! Details to follow next month, but I can say it will be at Jailbreak Brewery again. It’s an amazing venue and offers space for a large capacity crowd.

We have enjoyed the relaxed atmospheres and accommodations of the craft breweries. They’re fun and innovative. The beer never disappoints and in fact has made some of us converts to things like ”jalapeno ” and “citrus” IPA’s.

IEC Chesapeake events include catered food for our members- breweries that don’t offer pub grub (and many do not) will have food trucks available on their sites. Check out Jailbreak’s food truck and movie night in their parking lot- a lot of fun!

…and think outside the pub. There are brewery farms in our area as well; among them Waredaca Brewery and Brookeville Beer Farm. Fields of fresh grown hops, tap room, patios outside….and beer. It just doesn’t get better.

Beer is the new black. Slip into that little black dress and shimmy over to one of our beer events in 2017.

No regrets. Just beers.
