Snow Closure

IEC Chesapeake Closing Policy

For inclement weather closings IEC Chesapeake follows the closing policies of the local public schools.

Should the public school in the county in which the IEC school is located close due to inclement weather, IEC Chesapeake class will be cancelled. Also, should the public school cancel afternoon activities due to inclement weather then class would be cancelled for that evening as well. Please note that IEC Chesapeake follows public school closings for inclement weather only and closings apply to Continuing Education classes as well.
