IEC Chesapeake’s Nominating Chair Mike Knecht is asking for your assistance in identifying potential members willing to serve in the following leadership positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary/Treasurer

A vital component to our Chapter successfully meeting the goals set before us is the strength and diversity of our Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Qualifications for the Executive Committee:

  • Must be a contractor member (or employee of contractor member) in good standing
  • Any candidate for the position of President or Vice President shall have held the position of a committee chairperson or the office of Secretary/Treasurer for the minimum period of at least one year.

In accordance with the bylaws, please submit your nominations to Mike Knecht by e-mail at [email protected].

Nominations are being accepted until September 19, 2017 and may also be submitted during the September 19, 2017 membership meeting, Brewery  Event, being held at the Heavy Seas Brewery in Linthicum. Find registration flier link in this email and submit as soon as possible as space is limited to 90 attendees.

The Slate of Officers will be announced at the September Brewery  event (September 19th) and elections will be held during the Holiday Networking Meeting (December 5th).
