Opportunities for Women

Female Electrician

Start on the Road Toward Your Economic Independence

The electrical contracting industry is constantly evolving with emerging and solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies. IEC Chesapeake gives you the opportunity to pursue a career that is interesting and offers well-paid work.

Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW)

In our efforts to increase female representation in the industry, we continually recruit WOW’s clients. For more than 45 years, WOW has helped women embark into the non-traditional skills trades, into our apprenticeship program and successfully place them with our member contractors. While WOW helps you build a bridge to economic security, IEC Chesapeake helps you bridge the gap into our growing industry.
