The IDEAL National Championship is where the most elite tradesmen in the nation come together to showcase their skills. It’s the IDEAL way of honoring what they do and their way to test their skills and compete for more than $500k in cash and prizes.
From March – October, 30,000 electricians (both professionals and students/apprentices) competed in over 1600 Qualifying Round events, vying for their spot at The Championship Weekend in Orlando, Florida.
On November 9, 168 electricians made their way to The Championship Weekend and started their journey, ultimately competing for the title of IDEAL National Champion. And now, for the first time, IDEAL is welcoming everyone to experience The Championship Weekend. In January, and in select markets across the country, the IDEAL National Championship will be broadcast in a 30 minute TV special.
