Bucks County Community College

Your rewarding new career is right around the corner.

Our most popular electrical training program is here!

IEC Chesapeake (IECC), the region’s leading electrical and renewable energy contractor association and electrical apprenticeship program provider, has recently expanded into Pennsylvania. Working in conjunction with the Upper Bucks Campus of the Bucks County Community College, IECC now offers its sought-after Four-Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program. This recognized state- and federally-approved, registered program is designed to provide electrical apprentices with the necessary theory and practical training to earn the status of electrician.

For over 35 years, IEC Chesapeake has been turning out the finest electricians in the workforce. We offer apprenticeships, an “earn while you learn” form of education that combines workplace learning with related technical classroom education. Our state-of-the-art programs are taught by committed, knowledgeable instructors using an interactive format that offers opportunities for mentorship as well as learning. IEC Chesapeake’s Electrical Apprenticeship program offers an exciting and unique training experience that builds lifelong skills of the trade and gives you the competitive edge.

The path to career success starts here. Because our curriculum is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training, students receive nationally-recognized credentials as a Journeyman Electrician upon satisfactory completion of the program. Most students enroll with the ambition of earning their Journeyman or Master Electricians License, and many graduates go on to become project managers, foremen, estimators, and business owners. There are plentiful job opportunities available in this high-demand field.

There’s never been a better time to join the electrical industry.
