NCSCB certification program is designed to assure utilities, contractors & customers that personnel handling medium voltage cables & components are properly trained.

The Written Test Preparation is designed to prepare students to sit for the NSCSB’s written examination.

Students will review the following to prepare for testing:

• Electrical Theory
• Grounding
• Basic Math Principles
• Safety
• Cable Properties
• Cable Preparation
• Splices, Terminations, & Materials
• Diagrams & Drawings
• Tools & Equipment
• Management of Cable Splicing & Termination Tasks

Cost

• Standard Registration: $800.00
• Member Registration: $600.00

Cancellation deadline is 14 business days prior to seminar. All cancellations received after deadline and/or no-shows will be billed and/or are non-refundable. IEC Chesapeake A&T has the right to cancel class if less than 15 students register.
