Members Only Log In

IEC Chesapeake is dedicated to improving the lives and businesses of its members. As such, this is your access to services that will give you a competitive advantage, from industry news, to discount programs, job information, code information and exclusive educational classes and events.

To build a stronger industry, IEC offers Associate Partnerships to electrical and tool manufacturers, reps, suppliers, distributors, and ancillary businesses that interact with the electrical/construction profession and business owners.

Associate Partners receive discounts on advertising, free promotion of product and innovations in Wired In and opportunities as Third Party Speakers at our seven school locations for electrical apprentices. Associates are able to focus on building profitable relationships with electrical, renewable energy and low voltage contractors, as well as other Associates.

IEC Chesapeake Contractors look to Associate Partners first when reviewing their service needs- it’s like a “private Angie’s List”.  Contractors are keenly aware of the businesses supporting and interacting with our apprentices and our eight committees.

Associate Partners have a position on the Board of Directors and are encouraged to be actively involved in committees. Associate Partners have access to our intranet database containing available apprentices, and our complete Partner roster.

First time Partners are always pro-rated. Associate Partners have a variety of engagement options. To find out which option works best for your organization, contact Carey Walker.

Gain access to over 15,000 electrical professionals in one of the three largest chapters of IEC in the nation!

Contact IEC Chesapeake today to become an Associate Partner. Call us at (301) 621-9545 or toll free at (800) 470-3013 or click here to download our complete Associate Partner Program Guide.

Contractor Partners

IEC Chesapeake Contractor Partners are the Mid-Atlantic Region’s Top Low Voltage, Renewable Energy and Electrical Contractors, Businesses, and Apprentices

IEC Chesapeake is comprised of two, separate but important, categories of Partners; the Associates, as described above, and the Contractors, our core membership. Our core mission is training.

Our Contractor Partners recognize and understand that apprentices in electrical, low voltage, and renewable energy need a combination of the best in education and in hands on learning. IEC Chesapeake and its Contractor Partners work hard to maintain the best education for today’s apprentice, producing tomorrow’s Journeyman.

Contractor Partners also have access to our intranet database containing their apprentices, available apprentices, and our complete Partner roster.

Contractor Partnership is based on the number of “pairs of boots in the field” that an individual company has. First time Partners are always pro-rated.

To find out more about becoming a Contractor Partner, please contact IEC Chesapeake at (301) 621-9545 or toll free at (800) 470-3013.
