It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of Gary Hall. Gary passed on the evening of Saturday, October 20th, at the age of 69. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Christine Hall (Himmelheber).
Gary was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and spent most of his adult life in the electrical industry. He began working at O.T. Hall & Son in January of 1972, alongside his father, Owen, and two brothers, Glen and Dale.
Gary became a Principal and Owner at O.T. Hall & Son, along with his two brothers, and served in those roles until his retirement in December 2017. He was influential in the growth and success of the family business through its third generation of ownership and throughout his 46 years in the business. Gary was also key to mentoring the fourth and fifth generations of Halls as they have grown in the business.
Gary was very active in the electrical industry and especially enjoyed his time serving on numerous Manufacturer’s Rep Councils and other industry organizations. He served in key roles with NEMRA’s local Maryland/DC Chapter and MSS Group, a best practices group of electrical manufacturer’s representatives. Gary was also very active in NEMRA and a graduate of the CPMR management course.
